GM nostr? Getting tired of dog pics yet?

Neither is necessary. Vexl doesn’t see your contacts or your phone number.
You also don’t need a random SIM as it completely breaks the reputation model. It makes it a lot harder for you to succeed and find good trades that are actually based on trust.
Vexl is social graph so trading with friends and friends and friends only.
It’s also really important to note that Vexl doesn’t have a wallet it doesn’t touch bitcoin or doesn’t touch Fiat. No trading happens on the Vexl app. It simply connects you with the people in your social graph your real world, web of trust.
It is fully open source. Nonprofit.

I worked hard on this one… https://video.nostr.build/3b616a25cb9fbd6b25d1a267eb403513f2ea3f1cb38b7e8a23185da18a099f5a.mp4

What’s her name?
GM my fellow Nostrs! 🐕🐶💜 life is never boring with this guy.

I basically don’t sell anything unless I can get bitcoin for it. Vexl has made that truly easy in Czech Republic. We’ve got a wonderful local circular economy here. There are farmer selling honey beef jerky. There are plumbers and electricians also offering service services for bitcoin on Vexl.
GM Nostr! Looking good and feeling good! 🌴💜☕️ https://video.nostr.build/543a7f49883e487e60ce52cd36390e472b0f3728b5e70d8662a924d9ab76e19b.mp4
See you guys there!

Why not just start using Vexl?
In the early days of Vexl, it was just me, going from conference to conference and attending as many bitcoin meetups as I could, meeting plebs, and trying to get the word out.
Raising money for a nonprofit that will never monetize is tough. We rely purely on donations, and I’ve had to hustle getting in front of as many people as I can, explaining why Vexl matters, and why taking bitcoin back to its rebel roots is so important.
We’re not VC-backed, and we never will be. We are funded purely through donations. Our mission is to make bitcoin truly accessible for everyone by tearing down the barriers and hurdles centralized exchanges and financial institutions have built.
KYC is the real danger—it puts people at risk and creates unnecessary obstacles to learning about and using bitcoin the way it was intended: as peer-to-peer electronic cash, without middlemen.
It hasn’t been easy, but thanks to the support of OpenSats and grants like the one they provided, we’ve been able to keep moving forward.
And the growth we’re seeing, from Africa to Europe, shows that people are ready for what we’re building, private, trust-based transactions within their local communities, using their real-world reputations with friends and friends of friends.
But to keep pushing forward, we need your help. If you believe in this mission and want to be part of bringing bitcoin back to its roots, check out our Geyser page. Every contribution counts, and any zaps sent here will go directly to the fund.

Bitcoin is freedom money. Together, we can make sure it stays that way.
