Duck's just this guy, you know?

I love Nix for managing my configuration files but I've been too chicken to go full os for a daily driver.

I tried to do as much in nix as possible and I've found the need to go back to apt for too many things.

I brought this analogy up tonight in response to the question of who controls Bitcoin. Good nostalgic watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpeceXY1QBM&t=676s&ab_channel=aantonop

I love just about everything Mike Patton does. This is no exception.

Oxygen breathing is a bit statist ngl. The government wants you to breathe so that you keep paying taxes.

when can I embed a replit environment in note?

I hope ICANN is contributing back to nostr development considering how much business it's brought them.

You can't know how many of those private nodes are truly independent.

Sometimes you have to wait for it to link

While not as popular, I've found https://github.com/atdixon/me.untethr.nostr-relay to be pretty solid.

I forked it to publish the build as a docker image and published a Helm chart.

This will be good as communities emerge around a particular relay (or set of relays)

I want a version nos2x or similar that queries my unlocked keepass database for my private key only when needed and then don't store it otherwise.

I do a similar thing. Do they spend their sats directly or just sell back to you for things at the store? (It's gotten a lot easier to live off Bitcoin in the past few years)

Yeah. From a mobile use perspective, having tailscale on both your node and your phone and then connecting to the clearnet address is much more usable than connecting over tor.
