Join me as I navigate life's intricacies and share my own feelings and experiences. Here to learn and grow with you.

"Man is a creature who makes pictures of himself, and then comes to resemble the picture."

—Iris Murdoch

Willst du ins Unendliche schreiten,

Geh nur im Endlichen nach allen Seiten

—Goethe

"All through his [Ralph Waldo Emerson's] life he kept a journal. This book, he said, was his 'Savings Bank.' The thoughts thus received and garnered in his journals were indexed, and a great many of them appeared in his published works. They were religiously set down just as they came, in no order except chronological, but later they were grouped, enlarged or pruned, illustrated, worked into a lecture or discourse, and, after having in this capacity undergone repeated testing and rearranging, were finally carefully sifted and more rigidly pruned, and were printed as essays."

Dr. Edward Emerson

I eat, therefore I think, therefore I am.

The six steps of Focusing:

1. Clearing a space

2. Felt sense

3. Handle

4. Resonating

5. Asking

6. Receiving

When we prioritize meeting expectations, adhering to codes of conduct, established methodologies, and standard practices above all else in our pursuits, we lose touch with our own values, unique life experiences, and personal interests.

Pause! Pay attention! Cast your gaze upon the "true" treasures - those "hidden" gems waiting to be "discovered."

Alas, our relentless pursuit of external accomplishments blinds us to the genuine goodness that envelopes our very existence.

Final goods that bring goodness on their own, not for what they achieve or buy, sadly slip through our fingers - unnoticed and unappreciated.

Why is it such a challenge to emphasize the importance of thoughtful preparation while avoiding the perception of endorsing excessive hesitation or fear?

I've been caught in a perplexing paradox where I find myself least wanting to do what I most want to do. This conflict has persisted for quite some time, but now I'm turning to Focusing self-therapy to embrace this challenge and find a way forward.

I'm growing increasingly convinced that Focusing, whether through self-therapy or Focusing partnerships, has the potential to be a fantastic alternative to traditional psychotherapy. Especially for individuals struggling to find skilled professional psychotherapists or facing financial constraints, this approach could be a game-changer. #Focusing #SelfTherapy #Empowerment

Staking a claim is like diving into the unknown! It's about openly declaring what you believe in, even if it means taking risks.

Whenever I think, especially whenenver my thoughts find voice or ink or pixels, my whole humanity is put in question.

I deleted a post of mine. I don't know what actually happened to it.

Beware the ticking clock! It feasts on joys, devours all meaning, and swallows whole the significance of life.

Unshackle yourself from the tick-tock, whose grasp crumbles value to dust.

Reclaim your moments and dance to the rhythm of your eternity.

Mentee: Do I have a soul?

Mentor: Do you know the difference between good and evil?

I seek to bask in the joy of unhurried moments.
