I am a crane operator by trade and I loved it, but I do not love the refineries and chemical plants where I've spent most of my career, so I'm looking for a change. I'm into homesteading, homeschooling, and I've streamed on Twitch some. I might give content craation another shot soon. I'm not good at social media. Day 72: #grownostr initiative

Today is already a great day. My son and I took took care of the garden and the animals from which we collected eggs. Then we came home and he cooked scrambled eggs by himself for the first time. I love that he is learning:

1. Where food comes from

2. How to prepare and cook food

3. What good food taste like (tomatoes from a garden vs. store bought, etc)

4. He was also discussing the economics of farming on our walk back

Our dogs found this hognose snake (we call them spreading adders) close to the house. They're harmless, but I relocated it so the dogs wouldn't harm it. This one didn't play dead while I was trying to catch it, but it did "strike" and hiss at me a whole bunch. Easy to see why one of the common names listed for this snake on Wikipedia is "drama noodle."
