Same with Bluesky. But that's why I left Bluesky. X seems to be becoming more noticeably right wing as leftists leave en masse. But that's why I don't see any of them as being successful in the long term.
People might think they want an echo chamber, but isn't ultimately satisfying. Like-minded communities within the larger social media, yes. Echo chamber, no.
I think people should be respected for whatever political views they have or don't have. I just don't see any particular political leaning as a trait of a truly successful social media.

But I'm talking about for social media posts, not messaging. Telegram also has more users than X Twitter, and rapidly growing. I'm seeing more people move from X to Telegram in the news sector.

What do you think of Telegram? I know it's gov censored but not by choice. (Pavel was arrested in France for not censoring...) Nostr and Telegram seem like the only social medias that are conducive for free press. 🤔
