There are far too many horrific "isolated incidents" on the CTA, which is why the feds have threatened CTA funding up to 25% unless there is a real security plan. This is another heinous crime allegedly committed by a repeat offender who, as Mayor Johnson likes to say, "looks like him." It is Johnson's dangerous worldview against incarcerating repeat offenders that commit terrible crimes like this one and Bethany MaGee's that many say is the problem.
