Stumbling around

In 'Skin in the Game' by Taleb (I know), it is argued that an intransigent minority of a few percent can drive sweeping change when the rest of the population is indifferent. The example given is that a lot of food is produced to Halal/Kosher standards, even when a large majority of people does not have this requirement.

Let's be the intransigent minority for free speech, #Bitcoin, #Nostr, anti-CBDC

Why would it work less when #nostr expands? I'd argue 4V4 would work much *better* when there's 100x more users.

Are the inhabitants of a dystopia aware that they are living in one? And do they know how they got to this point? Do they agree on this amongst each other?

Somewhat agree, but the fact that the person is a victim makes them a most legitimate spokesperson for a cause, and their message is received much more powerfully

I know - the weird thing is that instead google is supposed to be ur fren 🤨

The wef is a conference at which some spectacularly bad ideas have been promoted in the past. So if someone goes there to promote (much) better ideas, it's counterproductive to sling mud at them for it

As soon as someone goes to the wef conference, even if it is to give a speech that goes entirely against the grain of the crowd, people will say he's "one of them". Single brain-cell thinking

The one ring is cbdc. Bitcoin is what? Andúril, the reforged blade? Lembas, the ever-nourishing elvish bread? Phial of Galadriel, a beacon of starlight in the darkest hour

At this point I think about two thirds of my followers are bots

These can be disabled in the repo. If they're not, assume that the project is glad for you to annoy it

I see - so in a republic, the judiciary is more independent of the executive and the legislative branches than in a democracy? This would probably depend on whether it is a country based on common law or on civil law.
