Yes, I don't say Democratic or fair as in me believing those things. I say them in a way in into which these groups might present themselves. It doesn't matter how nice they seem, don't trust them.

You cannot trust humans not to print money, it doesn't matter how democratic or fair or decentralized they are.

When crisis come, they will choose to print more money and will claim the decision was made in a decentralized way.

I want to buy a business and incorporate Bitcoin into it. Here are some requirements:

1. It has to be profitable. That is cash-flow positive.

2. It has to be relatively simple. No crazy specialized knowledge required.

3. It has to have been running for a long time.

4. It has to be something that's reasonable for me to buy near Austin, TX.

The goal would be to see if I can incorporate Bitcoin into it and see how well I can run the business.

While it's true that privacy may involve some level of risk-taking, it ultimately provides greater protection for individual freedoms in the long run.

I agree, that's why I said they "don't always" go hand in hand.

I'm referring to situations where you really want to do something but the only way to do it will expose some personal data, you have to make a choice between giving up what you wanted or giving up some data.
