i got it working now, but on a prior commit, just gonna let it sit at that point for now, i have a demo to make tomorrow, ideally i'll be able to get someone to interact through it
i have to implement NIP-44 now because when users connect to it it automatically turns that on
not sure why it doesn't show it for me though
this is the authentication flow i just got done, but it doesn't work with NIP-44 kind 1059
i have a reverse proxy on wireguard listening on 443 and a wildcard subdomain and it uses a subdomain. it was sorta working sorta not, i will debug it with the f12 console soon
as i was demonstrating it to my protoge just before in our meeting i went through all the existing nostr web apps and only coracle and nostrudel actually work with this and only coracle doesn't force you to decrypt every message every time - but currently only on coracle.social, not on my one
yeah i'll work it out, maybe i'll tag you when i figure it out and write up the howto
it's invaluable for devs to have a decently complete client implementation and coracle is the most complete
didn't take long to fix, thx
i'm curious though i ran coracle on my wireguard and it was refusing to send messages to my relay, but on the main app it works perfectly
something in the env file maybe?
Drafted another NIP, this one is for helping NIP drafters draft NIPs
bitcoin never stops supporting old things... if too many clients or relays support something it's out of the question to stop supporting it
ie, no D3, just 'food' button and 'drink' button and that's probably it
there isn't enough space between them lol, physically their shoulders are coexisting in that picture
amongst a billion other things
this is a really big problem btw... literally this means i can't control read access to my relay except on clients that respect this
i'm putting my money on coracle because it actually does this, unlike any other
i have a job to do and it involves making a relay system that has a cost for data distribution so it can't be just giving it away willy nilly
buncha hippie dippie shit
the clients need to fucking get their shit together
i saw it from the beginning, all this glory and funding for clients and nobody caring about the machines that deliver
yes, because that is intended, doesn't cost nothing to run a relay
i'm not sure i understand what you mean
it's a challenge auth system to stop replay attacks
what am i missing?
took me one day to write a DM based anti-replay attack challenge authentication, not even, 4 hours, by my clock on my timesheet
you all gay arse client devs can't even manage to implement NIP-42, except nostr:nprofile1qyfhwumn8ghj7mmxve3ksctfdch8qatz9uqsuamnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dshszxthwden5te0dphkgmrzdajzumn0wd68yvfwvdhk6tcqyztuwzjyxe4x2dwpgken87tna2rdlhpd02va5cvvgrrywpddnr3jyhdw0my because he isn't gay or an arse
i keep hearing the praises of amethyst, but i run a relay, i see the logs, and i watch the little icons showing that it's broadcasting my DMs to my test relay for control purposes to all and sundry
i'm gonna be unleashing some cans of whoop ass when i meet the ones of you that are coming to the island next month if you all don't get your shit together
NIP FORTY TWO IS NOT OPTIONAL
you are compromising privacy in such a brutal, blatant way it makes me sad
so you don't have to insert coin but they give you what master says you should have
that's probably because some women are capable of doing man work and man work requires man clothes, for various reasons
idk, the other way around... high heels were initially a class thing and it was about the length of the heel for you to ride a horse (heels are for horses, and the legacy persists today in shitty sloped shoes) stockings were probably originally for men because women showing their legs is quite unchristian/jew/muslim
basically, "woman's clothes" is a category that largely used to be also men's clothes
short skirts? ever heard of a tunic? tall boots? just have a look at what firemen wear... short shorts? rugby uniform... cut off jeans? i am embarrassed to say that this used to be a woman thing and now is relatively common man thing
i think that such conventions outside the context of the use case of the clothing are stupid
you wear armor if you gonna swing a claymore, you wear a plate carrier if you gonna go out shooting bad guys, you wear stockings if you are cold
hilarious wording of the article btw
blackrock isn't doing business with whitney or mark
just been trying out some new clients since #coracle has become amnesiac temporarily
i'm sure @hodlbod will fix the problem but i need something to do my testing with
yes, probably i'm going to run a local coracle instance like very shortly
no, yes
satellite is kinda cool but i am just not at home with #nostr without coracle
lol, good luck getting a gayvending homomachinery to give you anything without first putting in a coin or using your bezkontaktna bankova karta
blame nostr:npub1dergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsh9xzpc
I'd rather thank him; it's a great name
it's a poopy name
nostr DMs need to be fixed
