You're welcome. I've got another one for you. If I upload 2 photos, I can't remove the first photo without removing the second photo first even though the first photo has an X in the upper right corner.

I keep tripping some algorithm which violates some policy I've never heard of before. First time was for 7 days. this time was only 3. Maybe next time I don't get limited at all?

Be sure to look up into the night sky on August 2nd to catch a glimpse of Saturn next to the full moon. Saturn is at its closest and brightest of the entire year in the month of August, even though it never gets super-brilliant like Jupiter or Venus.

Not as severe as getting fully locked, but yeah, I'm over the dead bird.

Good morning and happy Monday #nostr, today is going to be a good day. 😎

Probably easier to get nostr going on an old Coleco ADAM. 🤣

Scientists have discovered an "astounding diversity" of giant viruses taking on "previously unimaginable" shapes and forms in just a few handfuls of forest soil. These giant viruses have alien-looking appendages and internal structures that have never been seen before.

Meanwhile on #Twitter...

Have y'all seen The Wire? If you like The Shield, you may very well like that series too.

Scientists revive nematodes frozen for 46,000 years, belonging to a previously unknown species.

The discovery sheds light on the evolution and survival of species in extreme conditions for prolonged periods of time.

Study provides insights into genetic and biochemical processes that enable species to adapt and evolve in the face of global change.

The Zenith Space Command, one of the first wireless television remotes, featured an influential and durable clicky button, pioneering a simplicity of form that has since been abandoned.

The remote used mechanical engineering with a spring-loaded hammer and solid aluminum rod to emit high-frequency tones that triggered commands in the television.

Modern remotes have become complicated and cluttered, but streaming devices like Roku have brought back a minimalist aesthetic with essential buttons.

Two meteor showers, Delta Aquariids and Alpha Capricornids, are set to peak this weekend, offering North Americans in the south an opportunity to witness up to 15-20 meteors per hour.

The Delta Aquariids meteor shower, coinciding with the Perseids, will continue until late August, while the Alpha Capricornids shower will last until mid-August, producing mesmerizing "fireballs."

To fully enjoy the meteor showers, experts recommend finding a dark location away from city lights, lying on the ground, and allowing your eyes to adjust to the night sky.
