I am a street photographer working with digital and analog photography, along with mixed art. My focus is on the interconnection of our world, on discovering the social struggle underneath psychological and cultural similarities and differences. I aim to foster empathy through themes of cross-border solidarity, and curiously engage my subjects via playful dialogue and cultural exchange. \n With a background as a software engineer working with AI and big data, I abstract concepts around the idea that what makes us different makes us stronger and smarter. Dictatorships in all forms understand the power of diversity and art and oppose it by making society uniform and resistant to cooperation. \n As the filmmaker Jim Jarmusch said: "Our job is to protect empathy - and live groovy lives!" \n\n
