Onboarding and simplifying the message has been on my mind a lot lately. Came up with this flywheel to set people on the right path to Bitcoin. Calling it the 4 S's but open to suggestions on better names.
Study, Save, Spend, Spread
After a decade of the corporate world my wife and I have embarked on a #Bitcoin pilgrimage around the world. We hope to learn more about yourselves, about Bitcoin and how it can help society as a whole. There are plenty of communities we wish to visit and share their stories along the way!
Starting off in Africa and will work our way east -> Asia -> South America.

📍Jabal Umm ad Dami (Jordans highest peak)
Someone in the tour group was a Bitcoiner so we hit it off. At the end of the hike his 6 year old daughter asks "why do you two only talk about Bitcoin!?" 😂
When I lost my job earlier this year, I knew it was a sign to get into Bitcoin full-time. Not knowing how to start I challenged myself to be the catalyst of 1 Bitcoin interaction a day for 100 days. I called this my '100 Day Bitcoin Challenge'

📍Lugano
Many pointed, only one interacted and said "didn't Lugano adopt #Bitcoin payments?" He was jogging so we couldn't chat further.
📍Geneva (held board for 15 minutes)
Many silently nudged their friend towards my sign but no one said anything except for a group of guys who called it a scam. They were on bicycles so I couldn't retort.

+2 - sent a business owner (salon) their first sats and paid for my haircut with sats (convinced their senior barber to accept it). Go check out Goldwyn and Sons in Etobicoke and get a great cut with sats!

+4 - traditionally in my culture we gift gold when a baby is born into the family. I decided to give them #Bitcoin instead and instructed their parents to give it only when they turn 18! I hope the kids appreciate it.

+1 - paid my barber in #Bitcoin for the 4th time
Me: how many others have paid in sats
Him: only one other
Me: why not give a discount, maybe 5%
Him: not a bad idea...go update my pricing board
Me: 🥳
After I added the '5% discount', he liked my writing so much that he had me re-write his whole pricing board 🤣
Next time you get a cut, talk to your barber, ask if they'll accept #Bitcoin, help them understand. You won't know unless you try.

+1 - sent a close friend sats on chain, had him pull up the transaction on the mempool and explained its significance. Needless to say, he was impressed. Visually seeing the blocks definitely helped.
