Gm nostriches, fascinating to learn more about the current situation in the #gold market (cheers Mark Moss). January historically a slow month for withdrawals, and BAM 💥 massive new record set. For me, a gold coin in the hand is worth 2 in an etf……… if only you could actually sell it without having to physically take it to a dealer.

Why share this on nostr? If all those #bitcoin ETFs aren’t being 100% honest, the same could happen, and when fractional reserve is called out, there will be a premium for self custody. In kind withdrawals could create fireworks!!!!

Get to spend the day with my wonderful wife on a little day date. Off the the Exotic Pet Expo and then some lunch somewhere.

Enjoying a nice French Press of FTO Blonde Espresso while I check out my Nostr feed, then off to walk the pooches. It got cold over night after the storms rolled through. Dropped about 25 degrees. Cold week ahead with some overnight lows pushing single digits F.
