I just got this message out of the blue.

I wasn't adding, removing, changing nor touching my relay list. It just showed up out of the blue in my direct messages. How am I supposed to know which relay this is?

If a relay requires a fee that's fine. At least let us know who you are so we can decide if we want to continue using your service or look for another one.

Also it would be nice to know how often we will be charged for the service. Since none of the relays I am using are new I will assume this is just a scam.

Well. A lot of people. For one I think some if not most of the OGs are not stacking anymore they're most likely retired living off of their stack.

This can include several of the mtgox people who have hundreds of coins and can now finally "use" them. This can be things like moving out of the cardboard box and get a decent place to live. Or going on a vacation. Or taking time off work to rethink their lives. Or starting a business.

Then there is the people who went 100% in and then found themselves unemployed or settling for a part time job. Forced sellers.

The traders who know that when the fed lowers rates there is an initial downturn so I think at least some traders are positioning for that

I see people in the developed world complaining about 10% #inflation and remember that I was born in an environment of 20 - 100% real inflation.
