Holy fuck, I’ve just discovered how to play “No Surprise” by Radiohead 🤯

Maybe that Thom Yorke and/or Johnny Greenwood wrote it the same way 🙃

The “transaction accelerator” feature in Wasabi wallet is second to none in terms of UX.

You don’t have to know if you’re doing a CPFP or RBF. You just click the rocket icon next to your stuck transaction and the wallet informs you how much it costs to speed up your tx.

Underrated, underappreciated, and not loved enough because the devs had bigger issues around the tome this feature got launched 🤷🏻‍♂️

Listen to my interview with Chris Derose this weekend.

It’s hilarious and it will remind you of the old days!

If you joined Bitcoin after 2019… just keep scrolling, you’ll find the Saylor/ETF note somewhere below 🙃

Never received any income from YouTube, it’s a very niche podcast that discusses mostly technical topics for a narrow audience that cares about much more than NGU.

But no, I’m fine. The funny part is that my sponsors fully support my work and don’t submit to a loud minority.

7 hours left until the Chris DeRose interview gets livestreamed here on Nostr via nostr:npub1eaz6dwsnvwkha5sn5puwwyxjgy26uusundrm684lg3vw4ma5c2jsqarcgz

This one goes to all my friends who used to be bitcoin millionaires but now they’re just humble hundred k-ers.

The 2-comma club kicked you out, welcome back to poverty.

Two days ago, I encountered some technical issues during my livestream with Sergio Demian Lerner.

For the Spotify version, I’ve edited & fixed the audio.

For YouTube & Nostr, I will do another stream to feature the improved version.

Hope you’ll tune in and enjoy it! BitVMX is really interesting.

One of the most effective attacks on Bitcoin involves paying developers to do nothing significant or disruptive.

Stall development by a decade or two, push everyone else to create impractical workarounds, then create a culture of complacency in which stagnation is celebrated.

Will interview Chris DeRose on Tuesday, June 25th, 1 PM EST/8 PM CET.

Got questions for him? Leave them in the comments 👇🏻

Follow me for Bitcoin uneducation.

I e-mailed Chris DeRose.

Told him since we last spoke I got canceled by the people I was trying to please, so now I can relate to his 2018ish struggles much better.

Hope he’ll find a couple of hours to record a new podcast episode with me.

Fingers crossed! 🤞

How to mine #bitcoin without buying ASICs:

1. Mine Monero in the background while your computer is on

2. Send your XMR to Cake Wallet

3. Swap XMR for BTC

Congratulations, you just mined Bitcoin like it’s 2010!

The future is multi-chain.

Litecoin will always be around to try features that are too reckless for Bitcoin and to do fast payments.

Monero will always be around to offer privacy & experiment with avant-garde cryptography.

Ethereum (or something similar) will always be around to allow devs to build financial apps & create tokens.

It doesn’t matter that they don’t scale – they scale Bitcoin + provide features that Bitcoin doesn’t have. All of them can work as Bitcoin L2s – Ethereum already does with WBTC.

They also add monetary inflation, meaning that we won’t have everything divided by 21 million coins. But that’s the price we pay for rejecting true maximalism (one coin to rule them all, with all the features integrated in sidechains + layer 2s).

Love him or hate him, David Bailey is writing history these days.

Maybe Trump will turn on Bitcoin if he gets elected. But his voters got exposed to ideas about Bitcoin and its importance.

Millions of people who otherwise don’t care about BTC are now convinced it’s important for the USA. This is a massive paradigm shift.

It’s also likely for Biden’s campaign to change its views/policy agenda on time for the election – thus elevating Bitcoin to bipartisan common ground status.

Just imagine presidential debates during which Bitcoin mining and self-custody are major talking points. This is super likely to happen at this point.
