Had the privilege of photographing a dear friend’s private collection of artifacts collected from traveling in the 80’s.

Wooden plow, woven grass bowl, some kind of grain grinding stone, a carved whale vertebrae. More to come. #nostronly #grownostr

Fresh caught mackerel, not the best eating but good enough and an easy catch.

The Sea at night.

Start9 says it is easier for nontechnical person, Umbrel seems to offer more services. I decided to go with Umbrel for now to see how it goes.

Umbrel or Start9? Any suggestions?

What BusinessInsider has done is online rape.

They used the excuse of "fascism" to write a doxxing article, exploiting individual's private information for their profit.

I feel for my fellow developer nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6. It's absolutely unfair that you have to endure this.

The biggest accusations they could come up with is that fiatjaf "built at least two webpages devoted to disseminating the work of the far-right conspiracy theorist Olavo de Carvalho" and "said some things about Nazis".

90% of the article is just doxxing fiatjaf.

I encourage everyone to fight back on the "fascism" of Business Insider and report what they did as a completely unjustified violation of privacy.

Some incredible rare plants can be found while foraging for mushrooms. #grownostr

These cost $20 an ounce dried commercially, we pick pounds each year foraging.

Morel mushroom foraging season is almost over. Had a good crop this year. #grownostr

Many wildflower enthusiasts understand the symbiotic relationship between trees and mycorrhizal fungi. In this relationship, the hyphae (fungal threads) enter into the roots of the trees. The trees benefit by increasing the surface area of their root system allowing them to absorb greater quantities of water and minerals. In return, the fungus absorbs carbohydrates and other nutrients from the tree.

Since they cannot make their own "food," the mysterious mycotrophic wildflowers take this symbiotic relationship between tree and fungus one-step further. Mycotrophic plants "tap" into and parasitize the hyphae of a mycorrhizal fungus by reversing the flow of carbon (derived from the host tree) and other nutrients to meet their survival needs. The unlucky fungus "feeds" the parasitic wildflower and receives nothing in return. Some people have even referred to this 3-way relationship as "mutualism gone badly!" For this reason, the myco-heterotrophs are often said to be "epiparasitic" on other plants.
