On the multisig or not debate:
If you have an amount of Bitcoin that you think might one day be a lifechanging amount of purchasing power, don't stop at writing 12 words on a piece of paper. You are 90% sure donating that purchasing power to everyone else who holds sats...
Multisig is more complicated and requires you to invest some time figuring it out, but its doable and more than worth it.
This is true. As an investment Bitcoin will always outperform on the long run.
However, a 100K advance in Belgium gets you a 1M house... So the numbers definitly vary depending on region. I believe the average house in Belgium is about 350K so a 35K advance here would be enough for what is average here.
