the faintest hint of your (immortal) reality (as pure spirit) literally drives the ego from your mind, because you will give up all investment in it.

the ego know that its existence is dependent upon the mind’s choice for it; it fears the mind’s potential at any moment to change its decision.

who granted you the guilt you carry with you, that you identify with? we take it for granted, never considering where that guilt came from. some may say we were born with it, but we deny it came from us, the decision-making mind that chose to listen to the ego’s lies of separation, and then proceed to defend these untruths to the death.

you are the decision maker, and you can choose once again which thought system you identity with.

our only hope for liberation from this prison house of pain is to step outside the system.

in order to preserve our separated self, we accept into our minds the ego’s false evaluation of who we are, despite the pain and discomfort it brings.

the ego made the world and its problems as a smokescreen to conceal the true nature of the problem, and then convinced us to spend our lives seeking its--the world’s—guidance on how to solve problems that do not exist.

what you fear most is the reality of what you really are.

your ego tries to convince you, easily i might add, that you are a separate, special self — apart from God and others.

But you remain as God created you, having come from Love and therefore are beings of Love.

the world appears to you for the sole purpose of pulling the wool over your bodily eyes to prevent you from seeing the truth.

Freedom can only be of the mind, having nothing to do with the body at all.

The peace you long for lives deep within yourself, and is meant to be shared with everyone.

You are not the victim of the world you see. Only your wish to stay keeps you a prisoner. You can be free if you so choose.

The world is nothing more than an outward picture of the mind’s inward and illusory condition of separation.

Denial of our identity as spirit is the source of all unhappiness.

All healing involves replacing fear with love.

Teach only love, for that is what you are.

Duality with God is impossible. God is either pure love, or wholly vengeful. He cannot be both.

A God that is both loving and punishing is a god we secretly hope for, as we believe we are guilty and deserve punishment.

We only need to be saved from our own belief that the ego’s thought system of separation, guilt, and attack can come between ourselves and God, and then between ourselves and others.
