to build search engine that actually finds content, it needs insider in every closed platform to perform search. and then that platform would probably notice this crawler, rate limit it and so basically make its task of indexing that site impossible
in addition to that, one has to crawl whole internet in almost real time to find latest information available. not that crawling whole internernet in real time wouldnt itself already be difficult enough, but in addition, most of internet is behind all kinds of walls, only accessible by members
search is probably hardest problem of internet. basically one has to compress whole internet and query single term against it, do it so that its not defined by large corporation and its algorithms + censorship policy
if #presearch is decentralized, i have no clue why there is only one search instance. seems bullshit marketing. neverthless, one more centralized search engine to consider
although there is this forced blur of nsfw, i cannot find an obvious way to disable it #presearch
from trying just one search i think presearch.com is quite good. none of the other search engines i've tried would have shown similar result in top 2 place for this search term #presearch
