A radical individualist who does not recognize his nature could never reach the point of actively rebelling against collectivism or breaking free from societal norms. Without the conscious recognition of one's own individuality, there is no chance of emancipating oneself mentally and emotionally from the pressures of society.
Individualists see reproduction as a compulsion. Collectivists are multiplying. This creates a small number of individualists who are also dying out. Then it starts again from the beginning. Individualism is always reborn, while collectivism somehow survives.
My solution to my problem will most likely not be the solution to your problem.
