In hindsight, I should have used the word *old school* instead of *analog*.
ACH and credit card networks are the analog way of payments.
With the invention of the Internet, an Internet-native digital currency is required.
And while PayPal and Venmo were built to provide analog payments over the Internet, they’re not an Internet-native currency.
#Bitcoin was built to be Internet-native currency.

Them: Can't the Bitcoin code just be changed to make more Bitcoins?
Me: You mean like the 7 people on the Board at the Federal Reserve (which controls money supply and interest rates) have always done?
Yes, the #Bitcoin code can absolutely be changed, just like The Fed can change the money supply and interest rates.
The real difference between Bitcoin and The Fed is:
- If the Bitcoin code gets changed to increase the supply of Bitcoins, NONE of the 19,000+ decentralized nodes are forced to accept the new code. Everyone gets a vote and it's 100% opt-in.
- When The Fed makes changes to the money supply and interest rates, every citizen is FORCED to accept it. No vote and no opt-out.

#Bitcoin is a digital revolution. A rebellion against top-down, government-controlled money.
Whoever controls the money has huge power.
Think Star Wars: The Rebel Alliance vs The Empire.
Bitcoin is for all persons, from the bottom-up. No permission is required. And it’s borderless.

Difficulty Adjustment every 2,016 blocks
Halving every 210,000 blocks
Where’s the volatility?
This is some groovy-ass jams to get creative with!
