It feels like we might be gradually then suddenly slipping into a pretty bad recession (We’re already in one, the question is the severity). Bad economic news keeps rolling in every day. We’re seeing a significant rise in bankruptcies. The only thing hiding the recession is the fact that asset prices continue to head higher in dollar terms.

Nations are looking to reduce dollar dependence by conducting business in local currencies. The problem is that these local currencies don’t have global acceptability, they are a weaker a trade asset. What the world needs is a neutral currency that can’t be controlled/weaponized.
