There will not be thousands of cryptocurrencies in the future.
When there are many different monies it just complicates things. This is one of the main flaws with the fiat system. Wouldn’t it be easier if you could go anywhere in the world and everyone used the same money, a universal language of value.

The government seized gold before… I think it’s possible that they could seize Bitcoin citing national security reasons. People don’t realize how valuable Bitcoin is.

Coinbase holds their assets 1 to 1, which is great! When buying an asset on a platform, I want to know that they are holding that asset for me in custody and not messing around with the asset or my customer funds.
