I’m a shrimp when it comes to mining, but my Bitmain-based chip mining rigs are solid as a rock.
I really hope the future will incorporate home mining via low cost USB-based alternatives as compared to the high amp draw miners used commercially now. That would be decentralization at a massive scale. Maybe that was Satoshi’s vision all along. Only time will tell.
The mining industry on a whole is interesting to watch, especially from the perspective of the hard grained economics that Bitcoin naturally imposes of companies engaged in the space.
Innovation and forward thinking, that is the nature of the game.

It’s remarkable honestly. The clarity of thought and overall presence of mind is night and day. I’d gotten to the point where I felt like I was just going through the motions with my weed habit. Constant brain fog, steady anxiety, felt like I couldn’t think all the time. Couldn’t even tell you why I was even doing it anymore. When I smoked, I didn’t dream. When I quit, nightmares were the order of the day for almost three months. Now, my dreams are vivid and beautiful. Don’t even think I was really sleeping before quitting. It’s been mental turmoil coming back to reality, but it feels like I’ve finally pierced the veil, and it feels amazing.
To each their own, but I ditched smoking weed 90 days ago today, after 15 years of daily usage, somewhere in the ball park of 150-300mg of THC daily.
Psychologically it’s been one of the most challenging things I’ve done. I never even realized what a crutch it had become for my mind.
Long story short, I feel weed has a purpose, as it did for me at certain times in my life, but people really underestimate the power it really has over the mind.
Take a break. Truly open your mind. Sobriety is way more intense than being high.
