christian. bitcoiner

It is better to lose anything than to lose time; we can acquire more bitcoin (at more expensive prices), but time is irrecoverable. Go outside. Throw the baseball with your son. Read ‘knowing God’ by J.I. Packer. DCA and grill a hamburger. Practice hospitality.

It’s good to have the things sats can buy, provided you don’t lose the things sats can’t buy.

Downloaded breeze wallet…..they really get you on the fees man.

why would I use their wallet going forward?

my friend, you are mistaken.

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” (Psalm 14:1)

the Bible says (not me) that you are being foolish.

In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek God; all his thoughts are, “There is no God.” (Psalm 10:4)

The apostle Paul wrote that every human being knows that God exists.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. (Romans 1:18–20)

You are simply suppressing the truth.

I hope you will keep reading for a few more seconds. I don’t want to use grand phraseology.

There is no extortion in Christianity.

I am a preacher of the GOSPEL, which literally means “good news”

The gospel is this: I owed a debt I couldn’t pay.

Christ, the Son of God voluntarily chose to pay the debt for me.

He has given me a gift: I am forgiven.

My sins?

They’re In the bottom of the ocean.

God’s wrath?

It’s gone.

No extortion here. Simply grace.

No extortion here: only love.

Why in the world would you despise and reject and refuse a God who wants you to be reconciled to him?

Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love. He will again have compassion on us; he will tread our iniquities underfoot. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. You will show faithfulness to Jacob and steadfast love to Abraham, as you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old. (Micah 7:18–20)

Psalm 2. Would love for someone out there to listen!

If I get some spray paint and graffiti the word ‘darkness’ on the side of a building, do I erase the sun?

He that abandons the truth of God, renounces the God of truth.

“Normally speaking, the greater a man is, the less likely he is to make the very greatest claim.” (Chesterton)

This is true, is it not?

Think of the greatest men and women who have ever lived…people you would want to meet. People you admire; people worthy of your esteem and respect….how did they live?

Were they gracious? Humble? Polite? Kind?

Or were they braggadocios? Chest-pumping? Attention-seeking? Selfish?

Now think about Jesus of Nazareth: he claimed to be God. A lot. As in: all the time, in lots of different ways.

But the poor were drawn to him, and the down-trodden…and 12 men spent every second for three years with him and could find no faults.

At his trial, not a single charge stuck.

He was tender-hearted, gentle and lowly….and yet. . .

He said he was God, the greatest claim thinkable.
