We don’t promote our pod but the boosts don’t lie. We were searching for signal and found a chunk of it.

Check it out and let us know what you think. Maybe one of you will be our first guests.

Kids can’t use Strike until they’re 18z

Muun wallet can be set up for a 5 year old. A 5 year old who wants to boost podcasts and zap people on

nostr!

My youngest daughter was diagnosed with Autism. I told them it was horseshit and they reversed the diagnosis right there and said she had PDDNOS which stands for Pervasive Developmental Delay Not Otherwise Specified.

They are super dumb and have no fucking clue what kids need but they had a serious influx of money for Autism so that’s what they’re gonna find.

1 in 5 people can’t just shut the fuck up and listen to a mediocre adult tell them what to do. Surprised it’s so small.

First ever concert was Metallica but then NYE 93 was my 1st Phish show.

Using Bitcoin today reminds me so much of using the internet to trade tapes in 1994. Nostr reminds me of building the #phish community on IRC. The whole spectrum from friends whose apartments we’d stay at when touring to denial of service accounts from trolls on IRC or RMP.

Phish fans - like back them - still don’t know that they were meant to be here. I want to change that.

The node doesnt require an address but you can’t use it to move coins unless you create one.

You can run many other cli functions without a proper wallet.

Me: study BOLT #2 and share what I learn. Put my 4 hours in.

Others: acknowledge the lives that have been lost in war and work towards building a world that reduces the incentives to violence

Only a generalist can be everywhere at once. A specialist is much more limited by time. States understand this and can control the resources of specialists much better than of generalists.

It’s no accident that generalists have been passed over in favor of specialists on the past 50 years.

Satoshi was a generalist. Bitcoin allows people to generalize again.

Bitcoin solved the Byzantine Generalist Problem.

The 2 biggest conveyers of Cypherpunk signal in the 80s and early 90s were Phish and Metallica.

Both are relevant figures in the history of information sharing. Metallica fought Napster with all their might while Phish encourages the free spread of their tapes and was the first band to sell concert recordings right after their shows.

One company links them - nugs.net - they are worth learning about.

Metallica brought the signal hard on their seminal first 4 albums. I believe they were being inspired by the cypherpunks whether they knew it or not.

Their Black album was meant to get more people to pay attention to their signal. They paid a heavy price to use their stinger in that moment but that’s what the Gods wanted.

Clearly any nation state that attempted such an attack would get rekt to oblivion. But I find it interesting to try and get into Satoshi’s head to gain certain insights:

1. The supply schedule has suggested that Satoshi intended for Bitcoin to be speculative but perhaps he was thinking about an DoS attack early on

2. His million coins is assumed to serve as a monument to his selfless intent but what if it is actually the insurance policy from the ultimate DoS attack?

What if the psy-op is so good that they get everyone to sell their coins? We’re probably taking about somethng like 10-100M or more per coin in todays dollars.

If there are assumed to be, say, 1m coins available and Satoshi comes back and moves a few thousand of his btc just to let us know that Bitcoin is backstopped.

THAT IS GAME OVER for Fiat. The moon isn’t high enough to describe this outcome.

What if Bitcoin’s issuance schedule is a defense against a Denial of Service attack where a hostile government could buy all the coins and burn them?

What if Satoshi’s million coins is insurance against such an attack?

Was thinking more about this.

If the transactions that fund Lightning can’t end up being accepted by miners on the main chain then the whole thing falls apart.

In the future you describe - I think we both agree that mSats will be valuable - likely enough to pay for blockspace - such that the dust limits will need to be rewritten across every transaction that’s still enforceable.

Some group of great Bitcoiners will figure it out and will it through.

Lightning using mSats doesn’t solve the problem of the main chain needing a solution of dust transaction being personal fortunes - in the problem you stated of having so many lost coins

The first generational mortality transfer will likely lose SO MANY of the 21M coins - I wonder if adoption is great enough by that time before anyone cares about an mSat.

I think many people will have their coins on Lightning and custodial higher layers and will survive the purge - I’m not convinced we’ll need a fork to elevate the mSat but we’ll need to figure out the dust limit for sure.

Get your kids to study math so they can solve the technical problems of the future!

Michael Jordan was a no show in both the ‘94 and ‘95 Finals. Lebron never failed to make a Finals in his prime. #nba

I continue to meet plebs through #[0] - I underestimated the power of this creation.

It’s amazing how many ppl just don’t know how find other Bitcoiners to talk to. You gotta ping a lot of people to find them but that’s the game of life.

Get on this app and reach out to local plebs! When you travel, try and meet up with ppl where you’re at. This is the way!
