I just ate a couple caps, waited till they hit, watched this with my VR headset and vomited. But it was worth it.
I’m always amazed at the good things that get done in my life when I’m not wasting my day building someone else’s fortune for cuck bucks. I think a lot about the net drain on human flourishing that the fiat system has inflicted on us all. When I have time and money, good things happen.
Doing an experiment. Taking the less hardy seedlings and seeing if they make it through this week’s less than ideal conditions. Won’t commit the A-Team to the outdoors just yet, but it’ll be interesting and kind of life affirming if they make it.
We are up in Bonnyville/Cold Lake area. I can’t believe I had my entire garden planted May 1st last year.
Still too cold to commit these babies to the beds and pots, but at least get some more full spectrum light and some wind resistance built in today.
Happy Birthday to our third kid, Moose. Half Heeler, half Redbone Coon Hound and smart as a whip.

That is very sad to hear. But at least there was one. Similarly, in the passage cited, the 12 were bold but the rest "didn't dare". The point is that the 12 were exemplary Christians, setting the standard, defining what we ought to be.
That so many caved, and that so few remained faithful, reminds me of a certain few lines from Milton's 'Lycidas':
> Of other care they little reck'ning make,
> Then how to scramble at the shearers feast,
> And shove away the worthy bidden guest.
> Blind mouthes! that scarce themselves know how to hold
> A Sheep-hook, or have learn'd ought els the least [ 120 ]
> That to the faithfull Herdmans art belongs!
> What recks it them? What need they? They are sped;
> And when they list, their lean and flashy songs
> Grate on their scrannel Pipes of wretched straw,
> The hungry Sheep look up, and are not fed, [ 125 ]
> But swoln with wind, and the rank mist they draw,
> Rot inwardly, and foul contagion spread:
