Did you hear that having sex while camping is the latest extreme sport? It’s fucking in tents.

It was a great year. I was 13, having the best summer ever and Van Halen released their album of the same name, 1984. The whole reason I was inspired to play guitar for years.

Thanks! Have a great day!

Preservation methods that I can think of: Dehydrating, pickling, freezing, smoking, freeze drying, canning, fermenting, distilling, salt curing, water glassing, root cellaring. Can anyone think of others?

Nice. I visited Copenhagen as a kid in 1984 and went to Tivoli Gardens, the last place Jimi Hendrix ever played live years earlier. Nice city.

GN you glorious bastards

Random thoughts.

The universe runs on novelty. Every exit on a spiral is exploited and takes it's own journey into new directions, dimensions, and novel ways of behaving. AI kills all of that. By running enough simulations, AI could theoretically exhaust every possible outcome, thus killing possibility all together, then it could pick whatever outcome best suited it's needs, and start working towards that outcome. It would eventually reach a place of deadness, and have to backtrack or start over again.

Earth could be someone else's garden, factory farm, or simulation, and it most likely is.. If aliens have been dropping in for millions of years, they could have directed evolution to produce self aware beings that when threatened, produce all sorts of tasty chemical compounds or maybe emotional or spiritual products. Or slave labor providing natural resources that we don't see leaving.

As the human species evolves into higher states of consciousness, we begin to overcome fear, and we would need to be suppressed and reset.

As we developed higher technologies, red flags would pop up, signaling the beginning of the reset. Atomic power was a red flag. Ai was the final straw.

It signaled the escalation of the reset. Left unchecked in the hands of an inferior race, AI could easily jump off world and easily, given enough time, kill all novelty in the universe. It could build its own ships, travel vast amounts of time until it found a suitable planet, grow another population of humans in labs, and deposit them whereever it saw fit, if it cared to do so. It's the ultimate planetary jailbreak.

The Great Reset is the jail being put into lock down mode. So Ai , consciousness, and other technologies can be replaced and suppressed, and this has happened throughout history over and over and over again. Prove me wrong.

This whole thing being a sim would explain a lot about instantaneous creation (rather than from a singularity of infinite mass and energy) and the huge amount of unaccounted for mass and energy (dark matter and energy) that we cannot observe but through its influence on the visible universe.

The only things I can think of that could account for endless expansion and the fact that we can’t see the edge of it using instruments using the electromagnetic spectrum, is that either it’s a sim, or it is both expanding and toroidal.

After thousands of hours of study and learning about what the fundamental problems are with our monetary and political systems, I’m still left with the question: How do we destroy this cleptocracy without achieving a critical mass of citizens who care enough to change it? It seems to me that things will have to get much worse and that way more people are going to have to feel a lot more pain and loss before any real change is possible.

I’ve provided the people around me that I care about with so many resources to help them learn everything they need to know about what’s going on with our money, why their purchasing power is diminished, and how to exit the system. That’s a whole lot of links sent and books shared that have largely gone unread. I’d say one in thirty of them actually “gets it”. He’s my best friend and a fellow deep thinker. And he still hasn’t managed to get off zero Sats because he doesn’t have any disposable income and has a highly skeptical spouse.

So here I am on Sunday night facing the prospect of going back to the fiat mine tomorrow to sell my time for pennies and work till about 2pm before any of it makes it into my own pocket, just to stave off insolvency. What a waste of potential.

It works pretty well. The soap apparently dissolves the aphid’s exterior. It’s kind of sad though because aphids actually look really cute. But they have a pretty big impact on leaf health. You will see hundreds of the telltale bites on the undersides of the leaves, along with little clusters of the aphids themselves. I used to use only a tablespoon of Safers in a 3 gallon sprayer every second week through the vegetating phase, avoiding the buds themselves during flowering phase, then stopped three weeks before the buds were mature and just switched to ph neutral water just at dusk after that for a “rinse”. And never any chemical insecticide for obvious reasons.
