The worst and subdole thing about democracy is that the majority of people do not realize they are living under a tyrannical state. In some ways, having a benevolent dictatorship is better, because even NPCs would be more awake about their true condition.

Democracy is an undercover tyranny: you have “freedom” only when you speak or act in not important contexts. Casually on the important matters (things that may affect the government in direct or indirect ways) people are forced or induced to embrace the government official narrative.
