1) The NFL has Cisco as it's "Cybersecurity Partner". Feels a little odd and out of place.

2) This article: https://neuters.de/technology/cybersecurity/how-cybercriminals-are-using-wyoming-shell-companies-global-hacks-2023-12-12/

Feels like they are gearing up for something big again.

Your comment on "everything is theater" earlier has been bothering me. Clearly you think some things are not? I am genuinely interested in hearing more of your thoughts on what you meant.

Yeah I tell myself the same thing too...

I just got done listening to most of the Alex Jones interview:

The first time I really gave him my full attention. I was surprised at how he made so much sense. It is painful for me to accept a lot of the truth I was just immersed in. 5 years ago me would never have believed I would ever write this.

I guess the biggest fight is yet to come, but I am really thankful and happy I found the bitcoin/nostr community. Know that I am ride or die, and will be in for whatever bitter trials we have ahead. Freedom tech and faith in God and each other will sustain us.

Upon my searching, I found that the Tenth Man idea is basically just having someone in your group that is a contrarian to go against the mainstream thinking, presumably helping the group grow as a whole.

GOOD MORNING ODELL, APPRECIATE YOU BACK BROTHER 🚜 💊 🚀

Luke Dashjr has been an inconsistent, and flakey character since I've been paying attention to him. He definitely has some con-artist vibes to him. I'm not 100% on this but my gut instinct on people is extremely accurate as I've learned over the years.

He was the CHOSEN ONE, or maybe he's an alien that went back to his planet, etc 😝

Wow, this has my wondering about some crazy conspiracy theories lol

We are hosting my in-laws side for Christmas this year. Pretty much everyone is either a moderate or a aggressive team-blue democrat. There are maybe 2-3 younger family members who don't subscribe to the narrative unthinkingly. There are 2 boomer men who are "the elders" of the bunch. They both have issues with me because I march to the beat of my own drum and don't "kiss the robe" per se. One of them is an old deputy sheriff who definitely carries himself accordingly if you get my drift. So the 2 elder men try to gang up against me and coerce me into conformance as much as they are socially able. I have always been open and honest and listen more than I talk, but nonetheless they can tell that I do not conform and it bothers them.

I'm not really sure where I'm going with this. Maybe just partly ranting and wondering if anyone else is going through similar stuff during the holidays?

Less insults, more thoughtful posts would do your prerogative more justice. Cozy couch larpers are the only people who could think differently than you?

There is a gradient upon which the subjective perspective of censoring/filtering lies. Pricing people out of the main-chain is just forcing people to 2nd layers for smaller amounts, as was always expected to happen all the way back to Hal Finney and Satoshi. People should be able to put whatever they want on the chain if they are willing to pay for it. It is the most secure, immutable database in the world.

People can also decide they don't like some/most transaction and mine only KYC transactions. This is their perogotive.

Eventually, some of these people will take the next step of trying to hijack the network to normalize "filtering" for only tyrannical govt approved transactions. This is the true threat to network access, not a few dollars for main-chain transactions. Were you around in 2017?

Half of me is amazed at the people that somehow became "orangepilledish?" but then think it's good to use mining pools that exclude coin joins.

The other half of me, says fine, let them self-select themselves out of the money. Maybe someday they can fork themselves out too.
