grandmas are not allowed to use that word I have it on authority
how to buy #bitcoin:
create a weighted ladder of buy orders
buy $10. at 64k
$20 at 63k
$30 at 62k
etc all the way down to the most recent low of 53k
then the next time it does a little Spike down like it did earlier today you'll at least get some of it and if it crashes hard you'll get a whole lot
I use River to do this but there are some other UIs that work way better, like bitrex
left out the cost of the US Navy which is how we keep the petroDollar on top of the world
agree
not sure #Bitcoin really cares though
I read his book in the '80s and said to myself that I would never do business with somebody like that
he has a whole chapter about lying to people and how to do it well
he will say anything to get elected
having said that as recent experiences might push him in the direction of wanting to be sovereign with his money
I'm going to take your word for it
cheap to get on chain right now

I think Peter is awesome and some of his older recordings will be seen as historical records in the future

I'm not understanding why this is significant
that was sort of kind of like a haiku almost
Edison = Satoshi. today is 1895.
#Bitcoin is just getting started
The history of electricity involves many significant discoveries and developments over centuries:
1. **Ancient Discoveries**: The ancient Greeks discovered that rubbing fur on amber caused static electricity.
2. **17th-18th Centuries**:
- **William Gilbert** (1600): Coined the term "electricity" and conducted early studies on magnetic forces and static electricity.
- **Otto von Guericke** (1660): Invented the first static electricity generator.
- **Benjamin Franklin** (1752): Demonstrated that lightning is a form of electrical discharge with his famous kite experiment.
3. **19th Century**:
- **Alessandro Volta** (1800): Invented the voltaic pile, the first chemical battery, which produced a steady electric current.
- **Hans Christian Ărsted** (1820): Discovered the relationship between electricity and magnetism, leading to the study of electromagnetism.
- **Michael Faraday** (1831): Discovered electromagnetic induction, which led to the development of electric generators.
- **Georg Ohm** (1827): Formulated Ohm's Law, describing the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance.
- **James Clerk Maxwell** (1864): Developed the theory of electromagnetism, unifying electricity and magnetism into a single theory.
4. **Late 19th Century**:
- **Thomas Edison** (1879): Invented the practical incandescent light bulb and developed the first electrical power distribution system.
- **Nikola Tesla** (1888): Developed alternating current (AC) systems and designed the AC induction motor.
- **George Westinghouse**: Promoted AC for power distribution, leading to the widespread adoption of AC over Edison's direct current (DC).
5. **20th Century and Beyond**:
- **1920s-1940s**: Development of large-scale power plants and national electrical grids.
- **1940s-1960s**: Advances in semiconductor technology, leading to the invention of transistors and the development of modern electronics.
- **1970s-Present**: The rise of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, and ongoing innovations in energy storage and smart grid technology.
These milestones mark the evolution of electricity from a curiosity to a fundamental aspect of modern civilization, powering homes, industries, and technology worldwide.
