The Sanshin is a traditional string instrument in Okinawa. It has 3 strings stretched & traditionallly was over a snake skin & turtle shell body (illegal now)
My friends bought one & we will party Okinawan style! (They bring a guitar everywhere - 6 years ago we walked through the Okinawan streets singing with the guitar during another typhoon)
