Miyamoto did some amazing stuff to help jump start the video game industry. He's an absolute legend, and I do agree that focus on gameplay should always be paramount. However, he's also done a lot to detract from modern games, with his weird fascination with gameplay gimmicks. This is most felt with games like Link's Crossbow Training or, at its worst, Star Fox Zero. Star Fox in general has been a complete punching bag for Miyamoto, even affecting other completely unrelated titles like Dinosaur Planet.

I am doing this without testing them in-game whatsoever because that would take so much longer. My plan is to see how it all comes together after it's all done, and then do stuff like changing colors and brightness after to make it more cohesive.
