There are definitely still onboarding challenges for people that are new to Bitcoin - but once these are solved I think it's inevitable that Open RSS, Lightning, and Nostr become the stack for content creators that want to earn for the value they put out into the world without having to play the attention algorithm game.

Absolutely! I was exactly like that in my "past life" in the corporate world. And often I witnessed others - less qualified people - get the jobs I wanted. The difference? They were louder than me 😄 and more extroverted. Once I understood that, I made sure my boss and other decision makers knew about my career plans. They turned out to be super supportive and helped me manifest it. Since then, I've always made sure to let others know what I'm up to, what I'm building, what I'm looking for. Not in a salesy way. But I make sure I don't forget to mention it in conversations. Most people love to help (especially in Bitcoin!!) and connecting someone with a job, a new client or just a helpful contact tends to bring people joy 😊

This is how you find a job in #Bitcoin:
1. Build a strong #proofofwork
2. Connect with other Bitcoiners, grow your network every day
3. MAKE SURE TO TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW what you're looking for (most people miss this part) so you are TOP OF MIND for them, when they come across opportunities for you (like in this case, where at least two people forwarded a job listing to Tanja).
4. Be a good person. Be helpful, supportive, kind and likeable. This will make people WANT to help you, too.
If you are currently looking for a job - how many people in your network know that?
How many people have you told today?
People can't read minds.
Tell your friends. Tell your Bitcoin network. (Post it in a comment under this post.) Tell your haidresser, your gym buddy, the person at the checkout in the super market 😉 You never know who knows whom. You never know which social media feeds they follow.

I saw the same job in our Telegram feed and forwarded it to her. I also messaged nostr:npub1syazeldyn2yqrcsma57z8q88smayett48hg4kxh3ngm6s92hj4usvagmnw (who's on the inside) to remind her of Tanja 😉 as I had introduced them previously.
I'm sure she will find her next job / gig / project in no time. If it's not this one, it'll be another opportunity. She's built the proof of work by organising #Nostr Days and Nostr booths at several conferences around the world in LESS THAN 6 MONTHS.

I've experienced both worlds. Years ago, I was naive enough to believe I could change the mindset of those dedicated to Web3. Over time, I realized many had no interest in change—they didn’t care much about the flaws of the fiat system or about wasting their energy on shallow/ridiculous projects built on fake dreams, empty promises, and sometimes even greed.
So, I chose not to waste my energy either. Bitcoin only in my life and work. I don’t consider myself toxic, but I prefer to distance myself from the crapto space, Web3, metaverse and whatever else comes with it. Working with and for Bitcoiners is completely different. These people are driven by passion, integrity, and honesty, working hard for themselves and others, focused on improving the presence and a long-term vision. Step by step, everything they do is making a real difference.
Same! I had fun working in web3 startups for a while, but missing the joint mission and desire to change the world. In web3 it’s all about “our tech is better than yours” in the best case, or “our token price is higher than yours” in the worst case. 🙄
Everything is so fleeting. People have no loyalty to their projects and keep switching or building new ones when the previous ones failed. In Bitcoin, you’ll always work for Bitcoin, no matter who your client/employer is - even if you don’t have any!! 😄
