Never heared of https://smee.io before untill I went through the Jenkins helm values. Seems interesting, ngl. o.o
Also I still have to rebuild all my coinage stuff in an incus container e.e It lives, it has i2pd and tor, a network IP and stuff. But it most certainly does not have btcd or cln or friends running.
yet. o-o
Why kubernetes?
- Docker Compose on steroids (and painkiller deficit)
- Deploy jenkins, make Jenkins build images, deploy images to registry.
- Point deployment at registry.
- Make jenkins update builds on it's own.
- Now Jenkins will cycle through things!
I want to implement this for RISC-V images as well as for Nostr things; like building super optimized smol images (i.e. statically compiled, distroless, strfry - or nsecbunkerd images with a most minimal footprint and such).
Down the road I want to explore interacting with the API programmatically; i.e. make a controller that creates nsec/npub pairs for deployments that request one - or send important notifications via DM. o.o
I have plans, and my work needs me to know kubernetes. So might as well commit 100%. When it's all done I will have a 5 node cluster, with 4x ARM and 1x RISC-V =)
... did I mention that I _might_ have an SBC addiction...? dem things are too much fun o-o
Oh...my...god... o.o

RIP my life, my sanity and especially my time.
fuuuuuuuuuuuck...
I was out like a light for two days straight, effectively o.o...
Not fun, but im like 90% back! Still do feel the remains though, prolly gonna keep taking the meds for a while longer, just to be sure.
Perfect opportunity for some network restructure, kubernetes installation and stuff! :D And, finishing FF7 Rebirth. @.@
Debugging kubernetes is a nightmare. x.x
But hey, i have a cluster up and running!
Been trying to make the k8s dashboard work but to no success - I bet it's the fact that k3s uses Traefik and the actual k8s dashboard *really* wants to use NGINX/Kong O.o
And then there is csi-nfs so I can mount my NAS as storage. Welp, that ain't working either... x.x ( ref: https://github.com/kubernetes-csi/csi-driver-nfs/issues/654 )
but only by going through this pain can I learn to deal with it in the future. It sucks, a lot, but i HOPE it will be worth it o-o
Welp, the fiat grinder finally got me. Ill as hell, havent felt this energyless in forever. x.x Hope yall are having a good day! ^.^
Cloud people confuse me.
YAML is super readable, easily parsable.
So why ... why this? https://github.com/grafana/tanka
I am so, so confused.
I feel this one. :D

Yep.
System administration/integration. Surrounded by Windows snobs that get ACTUALLY scared when they hear the words SSH, Linux or Github. Not kidding; just yesterday I was asked why a certain repository of ours was public instead of private. So I told the guy to make it private, configure deployment keys with pull permissions and insert them in every nixOS server that we use with this repo.
Nothing particularily hard - a bit tedious, perhaps. But boy did he lose his balls and was like, "ah... it ain't that important then..." - literally scurrying away. XD
Instant Messaging is such a walled garden, actually. o.o
There are no real "multi messengers" anymore like Meebo and IM+ back in the day. There is Beeper, but it runs on Matrix and I would consider it commercial; and it uses Synapse... x.x XMPP gateways seem to be far and few out there - I found a few very old ones for Telegram but none for Signal.
Man, are people really running a multitude of IM apps on their phones these days now? Is that actually a thing? O.o
Guess I am stuck with my Matrix messenger for a while... Well, I could work to implement this in Nostr, I guess - but there are a few things I would have to work out first. Bridges rely on controlling your account; and not everyone would trust a remote service... so I would have to figure something out. o.o
The world outside is bright and sunny.
But I am inside the school being tortured with crappy, cringy book stuff. German peeps, look up "Quality Land". It's bad. Especially if you're a technie... XD
Orlandi's voice game is on another level.
I ain't gonna be zapable at some point for a while - because I am going to rebuild my infra. Since Draytek now has DHCP and PPPoE right in the modem, there is no need for me to run an OpenWrt box - besides, the FriendlyElec provided image *sucks*. Why?
# wc -c /sys/fs/cgroup/cgroup.controllers
0 /sys/fs/cgroup/cgroup.controllers
They cucked their build so hard, that cgroups is entirely broken and borked. Yes, it is mounted as cgroupsv2 and all that. But holy crap its so much fuss and hassle, I am switching to Armbian on this box and just dump DHCP and gateway stuff on my modem. Yeah, ain't gonna have a rootshell into that but, whatever. At least I can turn TR-039 off :D So that's neat.
so what the heck is the takeaway from those screenshots?
Is that dude pissed he isn't rich yet with BTC or what?
Lining "bullish markets" with the live of real people is dusgusting, no matter what "market" it is.
There sure are some braincells out there, by god. o.o...
What we need is the ability to buy actual practical things in real life.
Unless I can buy my coffee or burger or smokes with bitcoin, is it really useful beyond an "asset"?
I don't think so.
This one do be going strong yo! \m/
