I'd like to post more and engage more on Nostr. I believe in this technology, in bitcoin and a bright future possible through this and open-source computing.
Problem is I've never really been a social media guy. I've become a lurker these last few months. Hoping to change that. I see my future benefiting from leveraging this technology more and I get such a mental boost from all the positive, solutions focused and responsible chatter on here

100% agreed. I think society and western culture has done a good job diverting us from that divine purpose. Yes, it is not for everyone and same straight up can't but when you strip away the nefarious programming its near zero in actuality. To add to this, that's not to say that tiny percentage that chose not too or can't, can't find purpose or meaning to their life... Universally it comes down to alignment of strong morals and values. Serve the family, the community and preserve the good in culture/society for the future. Leave the world a better place as they say. Comes right back around to being all about the kids anyway when you really think about it.

Keep preaching brother. Some people might not like to hear it but need it. Some people need to hear for reassurance and conformation they are making the right choices. It's important the community reaffirms the beliefs of the family and individual.
I've done pool mining for 3 years now. I've used only old hardware given to me by companies I've worked for or colleagues. The towers help cycle my solar power bank used for my home back up as well. I still require grid power too and operate at a lose at current btc price. I have no problem with that because its for my kids and when they are of age it'll be worth more than the power it cost to mine. I'll reassess this setup at the end of this cycle
