The past two years of bitcoin conferences I have been at have been bear market conferences.

And funnily, the energy was still really high at all of them. Pacific Bitcoin in 2022 occurred literally during the FTX dump to $16k and we were having an amazing time regardless.

Bitcoin Atlantis in Madeira has been the closest thing to a conference in a bull market for a while.

My single favorite thing at conferences is meeting people from so many countries. Within one example hour I met a woman from Saudi Arabia, a whole group from Bulgaria, someone from Bolivia, someone from Columbia, someone from Spain, and someone from South Africa. A woman from Malaysia really stuck out too and it was a great conversation.

There is no other asset that brings out so much hope and unity from people with such different backgrounds and experiences.

IRAs and other retirement account will get absolutely devastated by the collectivists in the next 30 years. not much one can do with money already trapped on the titanic but consider a diversity of plans for retirement outside the fiat ponzi.. i aint talking about btc or gold. im talking about community and strong family ties. you will be very well served to strengthen community and family over the decades before you are elderly as those are harder to rug you on than your already captured leveraged fiat savings. obviousky there are many benefits to strong relationships with family and community outside of retirement, but considering this one aspect for this thought.

My cousin just moved to the US and the first thing she said was that “the government is trying to kill Americans.”

The ingredients in the shampoos. The ingredients in the cereal, the lotion, the MILK!

The SAME cereal in the states has 20x more ingredients than the same exact one in Peru.

Then shampoo in the US was causing her hair to fall.
