I do love that feature, I’ve sent sats to friends I’ve previously split bills with, wish it would issue them a npub with it

I think it’s the extra step of finding it in the fork that throws me off so much, but that makes sense.

when reviewing a nip proposal do y’all

a) open the from branch in a new tab, find the nip in question and view it in preview

b) look at the file changes in the actual PR (if this is the case do you use split if there actually is changes?)

it’s weird that people who boycott Howarts legacy totally chill with the very stereotypical damsel-in-distress trope of Zelda which basically asks the player “willst thou get the girl? Or play like one?”

They make the argument one shouldn’t separate the art from the artist.. but they demonstrate they don’t even care about the art.

There are individuals who participated in boycotting "Hogwarts Legacy," a video game that actively aims to promote inclusivity, diversity, and empowerment through its character creation system, non-player characters (NPCs), and underlying messages. However, it is worth noting that these same individuals seem to have an affinity for a common narrative trope involving a fair-skinned, European-like Hylian protagonist endeavoring to rescue a helpless fair skinned female character from a evil masculine antagonist who’s the only one in the game with any melanin. In this case, it seems that the debate regarding the separation of art and artist becomes topsy turvy, as these individuals simply do not prioritize the art at all.

Every other thing on the “what’s hot feed” is reactions to this, half are pro-union critiques, probably wasn’t wise to join during the writers strike, the other half are orange man bad, but articulated as really over the top intense accusations. I feel like even if it is just attempts at over the top satire, it’s just so heavy, and from a crowd that is unwilling to extend a satirical interpretation on the other foot.
