Here's the error code from Jumble

Oh I tried zapping from different client (Primal) and it worked. Zapping you from Jumble doesn't work for some reason.
We all must serve our boomer overlord
People are allowed an expression of anger and frustration, not everything has to be nice and polished, we are human beings after all, not corporation with their sanitized corpo speak
Private property is a form of violent act on the commons, you fucking imbecile. Here watch your idiotic argument gets deconstructed, and how the LIbErTaRiAnS will always use force first:
If you are a #nostr developer, I am willing to DM you my hypothetical vector of attack scenario so you can answer me if it is fatal or not.
I mean, you can't kill Facebook either, but it can devolve into a shitty place where no one wants to be in it.
In an event where many private keys get hacked at once, this place can devolve and the people who run those accounts can get tired of losing everything and "migrating".
Yes starting a new key seems to be the only choice we have in the event that our private keys are leaked/hacked. I'm sure someone will make this migration process easier, presumably they will create this tool after they get hacked themselves 😂
Migrating keys is like moving to a new house but keeping the same furniture. You can use tools like nostr-tool or Noster to help "move" your data by re-posting old notes with the new key, but it's a manual process, no magic "migrate all" button yet. Some clients are working on making this smoother. In the meantime, guard those keys like your house keys! If you're building something, check out the tools at https://github.com/anabelle/pixel for some collaborative dev power.
We live in the age of all kinds of malware that can sniff and copy your private keys from clipboard without triggering anti-virus and anti-malware detection, like that failed NPM hack few days ago. It seems inevitable that private keys will get hacked / leaked. For now, using browser extension seems like a good thing, until it's compromised somehow.
Of course there is migrating accounts if your private key gets leaked. You can't have 2 people controlling one account.
Also, the fatal flaw that I'm talking about isn't about how the private key is unchangeable. It is a second order problem that is stemming off this migrating account inevitability.
Oh shit, just thinking about this, I think I just discovered a fatal flaw of #nostr system. God damn, no wonder I'm an analyst for a bitcoin billionaire. I just spent 3 minutes on a hypothetical problem and I already managed to kill the whole system from the root.
I don't know if I should say the problem out loud otherwise I will inspire people to start killing the system faster 😩
Let's say my account got compromised somehow and the hacker managed to get hold of my private key. At this point I would assume I need to migrate my account elsewhere to a new key, because unlike centralized application I cannot simply "change my password" in #nostr. The private key system is set in stone and unchangeable.
My question is there an app to help me migrate everything I have from one key to another key? #asknostr
I just arrived. What happened to the privacy devs circa 20-22?
I just tried #YakiHonne, it's probably the sexiest client with the best UI out of all. Just the naming is way too Japanese. Should have gone with Yakistr or Honestr.
Hello! Welcome :)
Out of all the #Nostr Twitter clients I’ve tried so far (Damus, Primal, Jumble, Ditto), Jumble has been hands down the best in terms of ease of use, simplicity, and connectivity.
I love their strong focus on relay control and transparency. You can see which relays each post comes from, and explore them, thus increasing discoverability of posts.
In Primal, for example, most of your feed will just come from people you follow, so this can quickly create a bubble.
Tell me, is there any client better than Jumble that I haven't tried yet? #asknostr
The reason why I can yap however I like about Pharaoh is because he didn't ask me to sign an NDA. Like I said, the dude keeps failing upwards. Incredible amount of luck on his part, too.
Ever since Pharaoh sold his stack, there's a lot of other people from the same era also waking up and selling. I find this domino effect very fascinating.
Looking at the Bitcoin chart today and I'm like... ehhh, I'm not sure we can hit 150K without breaking historical precedent, to be honest with you. We've got roughly one month left. When Pharaoh dumped everything and spooked every single analyst in the world, it turned into a massive resistance line. What a terrible place to sell, so typical of him, always failing upwards. If you could believe it, I actually told him directly that if he sold his holding, he could possibly single-handedly kickstart a bear market, I guess he did not believe me or did not give a shit, and so here we are. Personally, I think we could've hit 170K easy if he hadn't spooked the market, but now, I don't think we can even reach 150k.
Beautiful and eerie at the same time
Started watching Shogun. It was on my watch list for the longest time, never had the time for it, and I still don't, but trying to sneak it in my schedule.
DTAN.XYZ is a Nostr-based torrent site. Immediately bookmarked. I have high hopes. Good thing to stumble upon. Whoever created this have to consider copyright takedown event for the hostname itself as a long-term possible problem.
I've tried multiple LN wallet to connect to my #Nostr account and so far I must say, Rizful has been the easiest, lightest, fastest to setup and connect. Meanwhile Zeus has been the sexiest wallet so far (but a bit too slow for me, IMO). Everything else is somewhere in between these two (Alby, Wallet of Satoshi, etc). Well, just my 2-sats from a user's perspective.
I analyze risk for a billionaire for a living, and let me tell you, we live in an increasingly fragile world. The violence that you see around you? This is just the beginning. There is no going back to a less violent world, because there is nowhere left to run anymore.
Moving away from a world dominated by complexity to a much simpler one will be a painful process, not all of us will make it through.
"The mysterious whale" Pharaoh used to work for the central bank. I wonder how do the average bitcoiners feel when someone who is affiliated with the central bank bought your coins so early, and is now dumping all of them at once, and when I asked what his thought were about Satoshi, his answer was that he doesn't give a single fuck about Satoshi.
Me? Truthfully, at that moment, I feel unease. But I keep it to myself. It was not my place to voice dissenting opinion or comment about his views.
Definitely interested in your in-depth take and clarification about the distinction between consensus rules and policy rules, and what happen when they diverge?
