Both sides experience it and it's objectively not always for the better. The majority is not always correct. Often there is a different right or wrong for different people.

It is not good if any person or group can control the information you have access to.

If you like the people in charge, with a majority vote your rights, your situation and or your feelings about the situation can change fast, your feelings about who controls the information can change fast.

What misinformation is being pushed? Is grok bias?

I'm not on centralized platforms, are people getting banned due to government coercion/decree like they were a few years ago? Are their posts being provably suppressed like they were under the Biden administration? Was that bad?

The politicians you mention are not in favor of decentralized options and would take them away if they could.

Obama and those he supported like Kamala and Biden are in favor of regulating free speech. Would/did they censor free speech the way you would like?
