Well, here is something both irritating and potentially exciting. Haven't heard back on the vendor app for the local homesteading conference so I called the Conservation District office. The only app was never received (imagine that). But, after a 30 minute chat the contact person is going to see if she can still get me in to the sold-out Joe Saletin meet-n-greet, try to get the application approved because they don't have many vendors, AND might - MIGHT - see if there is a vacant time slot for me to speak on micro homesteading. THEN would I be willing to work with them to provide workshops in our area of the county.
I might live to regret this. LOL 
You have raised many more ducks than I have. My girlfriend, who gave me the ducks, has multiple breeds all mixed together. She doesn’t breed to sell so the two young ducks are mixed. I will keep my eyes and ears open. I have a small flock so they all share space with my chickens. Don’t want a drake hurting my chickens.

I have never canned them. I will put these in oil in the refrigerator. I have dehydrated some. I figure you could. They are a sweet pepper. Good in pasta, Italian dishes. This is the first time growing them.
Finally having lunch. Peanut butter and apple jelly sandwich. Cut up a small watermelon, cleaned some grapes, set aside some Jimmy Nardello seeds, and some laundry.
Beef canned. Tomato sauce canned. Peppers roasted.

As far as predators, where I am the predator pressure is light. Raccoons are the major threat for grown poultry. I do get hawks looking but never lost an adult to one. Oh, the neighbor dogs are a problem. We had a better fence put in out back and are strengthening one other area.
Not dumb at all. I do keep mine all in one coop. You have to watch out though. A drake will hurt or even kill a chicken hen. My last drake didn’t bother my chickens. Right now the new ducks are separated from the rest. Good morning all y’all! Cooler today and dry. Day two with the new ducks. Babies still in that chirp/whistle phase so no idea whether they are male or female. No curl to tail feathers yet if male. I keep thinking that my ducklings would have a curl by now if male.
