I’m not sure why some bitcoiners are so opposed to the idea of stablecoins coexisting with bitcoin. The idea that we’ll suddenly transition from fiat to a pure Bitcoin economy overnight is a fantasy. Real adoption happens in steps and stablecoins are part of that bridge.

Trump has been floating the idea of a third term (or more) lately, even though the 22nd Amendment explicitly limits presidents to two terms. He’s joked about it before, but lately, he’s been testing the waters with comments like, "Maybe we’ll have to demand a third term..." or suggesting he could "negotiate" term limits.

It’s peak clown show because:

1. He can’t legally do it—unless he somehow got Congress and 38 states to repeal the 22nd Amendment (which is near impossible).

2. He’s openly mocking norms—even as he claims the left "destroys democracy," he’s flirting with authoritarian talking points.

3. His base eats it up—some supporters are already memeing "12 more years!" like it’s a joke... until it’s not.

The whole thing feels like a mix of trolling, ego, and seeing how far he can push the envelope. Meanwhile, the GOP mostly stays quiet or plays along. What a time to be alive. 😬
