TL;DR they’ve been kicking the shit out of each other for thousands of years, and will continue to do so for thousands more. Unless you live there, it is almost impossible to have a valid opinion and ultimately of little relevance - my advice is to focus on the things that matter most to you and your family.

#Bitcoin was here long before the Trumps picked it up like a shiny new toy and will be here long after they have shuffled off into irrelevance.

I remember in the late 80s being able to buy the most incredible pizza at this tiny hole-in-the-wall pizza place in the quartier latin in Paris for 10 francs. The past is a foreign land…

The last time I shared champagne with nostr:nprofile1qqstfk4h8ue0sa46fjc7nl3m3unwjuejrcq4et8r05ql0vayv45533cpp3mhxue69uhkyunz9e5k7qg4waehxw309ajkgetw9ehx7um5wghxcctwvs5j2kdj on top of the Eiffel Tower it was 2012 and the cost was €10/glass. Today, thirteen years later it was €24. Inflation sucks, but #Bitcoin saves you from it. Cheers!

Meh - €24 isn’t what it used to be! 26,000 sats, on the other hand…. Lovely photo, BTW.

She’s not adventuring anywhere in those skintight leather strides - jeez they must have cost a fortune!

For low time preference plebs, any opportunity to stack #bitcoin below the ATH is a gift. Act accordingly.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

That doesn’t tell the whole story of course, given that the heads of both Coutts and NatWest resigned as a result of their treatment of him. He actually did a fairly engaging interview with Peter McCormack on WBD at the time and given the way he was treated he more than most politicians has good cause to embrace bitcoin.

Ain’t that the goddam truth…

We saw Lisa Hough and nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgqgdwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkcqpqz5umqa38xfv94y3fpver2khw2qar2v54jetl24939j4f0yyhggdqt5r39f speak yesterday at the conference, and to our surprise, Lisa talked about the importance of Bitcoin mining in the USA. She mentioned Russia and SWIFT... think about the financial sanctions placed on Russia, which give it an incentive to become a #Bitcoin mining superpower.

Lisa mentioned how she believes the banking system will just *be* Bitcoin in 10 years. Imagine if/when this becomes true, how far behind the USA would be (or any country left behind) if we don't come out ahead on #Bitcoin mining.

TL;DR: the mining race is ON. Which countries will win? Which will be left behind?

This is why we do what we do. Without a single machine in our ownership, we are attempting to make our mark with BLOCK PARTIES and fixed return mining. Everyone can do this. Everyone can buy hashrate. It's decentralization of mining. It's democratization of mining.

Now, back to the party posts. Thank you, Lisa. 🫡

“Bitcoin is for your enemies.”

No, if anything they act as speed bumps. But … nothing stops this train.
