I'm torn between wanting to shout out to everyone how much I love Bitcoin and the urge to keep it private.
Les frais d'utilisation des cartes ou autres modes de paiements proposées par les banques sont pas négligeables. Les frais pour le lightning network sont minimes et pour bitcoin des dizaines de centimes.

- en bitcoin, le commerçant reçois le montant sans déduction

The human rights violation during 2020-22 by several (all?) governments, including Swiss government, including État de Genève, should be an eye opener to everybody.
We cannot trust governments.
We have to seek self sovereignty.
In Switzerland, EVERY taxpayer gave 46'000 CHF to save Credit Suisse. Well, the state just spend it without asking.
Bitcoin is trust less, needs no permission and can be used privately (-> samurai wallet).
Nostr is a protocol that allows free speech without censorship.
Decentralization is the answer!
If you use an electric heater anyway, you might want to check this out.
You will pay more in electricity bill than you earn in bitcoin.
But:
- You have a very cool (🔥) engine at home
- You will increase decentralization.
- You will have a warm room
- Your air will be pure
As for the moment I only know of this place in Geneva. They accept bitcoin, monero and others.
Is Bitcoin ready for the masses or is it even ment for everybody? No matter if the big investors join or not, it will continue.

We need something like this in Geneva. Well, not with Tether though.
Why is Geneva so slow with bitcoin adaption?
How can I boost it and get more places to accept it as payment.
I'm talking about coffeeshops, restaurants and shops.
