Life lessons I've learned from chess.
I just started learning chess and realizing it's full of interesting lessons.
Here's my running list:
- have a plan for where you are going. Don’t simply react. When you think there are no moves, take a step back and look again at the bigger picture.
- it’s better to retreat sometimes. If you do it, do it the whole way to give yourself enough room to maneuver for the future and not have to take another step back because you didn’t retreat enough.
- advantages are ephemeral. You can gain or lose advantage each turn.
- advantage is not the same as winning, don't celebrate prematurely. Conversely, being at a disadvantage can be overcome, don’t panic.
- opponents make mistakes. It is a mistake to not exploit them to your advantage.
- there is no room for ego. Everything is strategic. Retreating is a tactic. Advancing is a tactic.
I have realised no movie is worth enough to read its subtitles for 2 hours. I have passed that age. If you like it, good for you.
In this situation, you have to do something so that 1+1 does not = 2, this is what Mikhail Tal said. You should not let the conditions affect you, but you should create your own desired conditions and everyone is obliged to play according to those conditions.

Pro-tip: do not use a phone number. Data only sim card, always in roaming, preferably anonymous.
Recommendation: Bitrefill, keepgo, silent link, paid with crypto
Depending on where you want to use it.
Advantage of data plan is you can be very promiscuous with it.
When you play chess. You assume the opposition to be intelligent, in that assumption you can guess their moves as a reaction to your moves, and make a foolproof strategy. But when the opposition is dumb and unpredictable. You are blind. That’s a bad state to be in.
Applicable in career, life etc.
Argentina to mine #Bitcoin using stranded gas with 1,200 bitcoin mining machines.
I'm looking for Data only sim card, always in roaming, preferably anonymous.
Any recommendations?

When people say that school prepares you for the real world, they mean it prepares you for a lifetime of obedience and rule-following.

Most people I meet everyweek are pretending to be happy they will laugh, crack jokes and share stories of how hard they partied last night.
But when you look deep into their eyes there is extreme sadness and a feeling of emptiness.
Not able to express your feelings is killing people.
The World needs more good listeners than stories tellers.
Mullvad VPN has confirmed the existence of critical DNS leak problems in certain Android VPN apps due to inherent bugs in the Android operating system.
The issues can occur in multiple scenarios, such as if the VPN is active without any DNS server configured, or for a short period while the VPN app is reconfiguring the tunnel or being force stopped/crashing.
These leaks can expose users' browsing history, location, and ability to bypass internet censorship, even with the "Always-on VPN" and "Block connections without VPN" settings enabled.
Mullvad has reported the issues to Google and is implementing a workaround, but the problems should be addressed at the OS level to protect all Android users.
DNS traffic can leak outside the VPN tunnel on Android
https://mullvad.net/en/blog/2024/5/3/dns-traffic-can-leak-outside-the-vpn-tunnel-on-android
Does it apply to ios devices?
No, the DNS leak issues described do not apply to iOS devices. The search results specifically mention that the problems stem from bugs in the Android operating system itself, and only affect certain Android VPN apps.
The Mullvad VPN app for iOS uses the "on-demand VPN" function which acts as a kill switch when the VPN is connected, and should not leak traffic.
The article also notes that while there are some potential privacy issues with iOS, such as traffic to Apple services bypassing the VPN tunnel, there are no issues analogous to the Android DNS leaks described.
So in summary, the critical DNS leak vulnerabilities are limited to Android devices and apps, and do not impact iOS users of Mullvad VPN or other VPN services. The problems require fixes at the Android OS level by Google.

The future will not be owned and controlled by a few giant tech companies.
It will run on open, transparent, and decentralized blockchain networks.
