Board owners dont like CEO on their billboards due to recent events....And this could also paint the picture that Derek supports what Luigi did publicly.

The Derek will have final say, but the CEO part has to be changed for the artwork to be approved by board owners.

I wish advertising was as easy as just doing what we want, like we're used to, but unfortunately it's not.....Until we own our own billboard anyways. 😅

or

"It's like X or Facebook without the censorship. #Nostr"

And tape them on billboards, in restroom stalls, on city lamps, etc.

It has to be quick and to the point if you want the plebs to read it.

Few and far between. Nationwide there are like 7-10 main billboard owners.

Also costs alot more to be on billboards that do accept QR codes, same with the video ones.

The plan is to eventually expand to them when community support allows though!

Because the people that are actually building really cool and interesting stuff are not the people that are typically supported by the VC bros that have tried to basically remake legacy social media by turning a protocol into a platform which is totally not the same thing.

I don't particularly care that much about Nostr in the long run because it should just fade into the background like how everything is networked because that's the entire point. It's what is built on top of a (hopefully) stable protocol that is flexible and irresistibly unstoppable that matters.

"Joining Nostr" is fiat thinking. Building on the freedom protocol is not.

I find it very hard to believe leaving QR codes out isn't drastically wasting effectiveness
