While I have been talking about Bitcoin for years now and she actually held some, somehow those past few days she started to ask more and more questions up to the point she actually started reading books and watching YouTube videos on how it works (down to the level of hash functions… she’s a mathematician after all). Super happy she finally got to that point that she more and more understands why I’m so enthusiastic about it.

Also tried to orange-pill all the vendors that are selling their stuff in front of the pyramides today. Not that we wanted to buy anything but I hopped from vendor to vendor, asking if they accepted #bitcoin. Whenever they said they didn’t, I made the „what a shame“-gesture and moved to the next one. 😂 none accepted it yet (would have bought something if they did), but if more and more people ask them, they might start to. 🤙

Just bought some BTC with our last month's Youtube proceeds... Every time my account gets hit by YT I immediately use It to stack sats, I don't even look at the price anymore. It's not much now but in hindsight in a few years I think there's a pretty good chance this will have paid for our trip.

Life right now…. Mexico truly is something. Hammock mounted to the rear carrier, a coffee so strong it wakes your dead grandmother and a river leading in from a hot spring to swim in.
