A couple traveling the Panamericana in an expedition truck. Currently in Argentina. If you want to buy us a coffee or a kilometer of diesel when we pass through Central and South America, you can do so here. Any zap for us will be spent at local vendors in Guatemala, El Salvador and any other country where we find people accepting it. Follow us to travel along and we'll post anything we bought over lightning when we’re there. Start here: https://iris.to/post/note1cvhz2czx3znnp3mwp5vaq4d433a05ztz2rwcev0aa42jafsmjndsevf6jm

Yesterday we were woken up by music at 05:30 in the morning... apparently on Easter (Semana Santa) the Guatemalans like to party.. and start early. 😂

Always love seeing stuff like this... It always amazes me to think about how long this had been lying there.. and when it was made and by whom.

My grandfather found an - estimated to be - Bronze Age axe head once. 🤯

Remove the ads and the algorithms that shove the shit down your throat and you end up with freedom to chose.

One of the reasons we started posting our stuff here on Nostr... People are kind, friendly and helpful and if they don't like what they see, they just don't follow... That's how social media should be. 💜

Yeah it’s always weird to eat something that feels “off” for the first time. We had cockroaches and spiders in Cambodia. It was a hurdle at first but the cockroach wasn’t so bad actually… the tarantula… meh… 😂

Not yet. I searched for the Nostr account but couldn’t find it. Thanks so much for linking it. 💜 I’ll do that now! 🙌

Yeah I thought it would be pretty fatty. It apparently used to be quite frequently eaten in restaurants where I’m from (Austria)… used to be on most menus, especially brain with eggs… but when mad cows disease hit they all removed it… never found a place to try it in Europe. 🤷‍♂️ would be interested though.
