I agree. Any formal plan would have a phase-in with regard to raising the retirement age for those below a certain age. You're too close for such a phase-in to apply.
Yes. If you are mentally and physically healthy, taxpayers should not pay you to retire at 65. When Social Security was created, life expectancy was 64. Today, it's 78.
Also, people require purpose. If you can retire and find purpose, go for it. For many, that's a bad idea.

What do @DukeMedSchool Dean @MaryEKlotman and @DukeHealth CEO Craig T. Albanese have to say about these videos? Do they stand by Dr. Raman’s racist comments? Are they ok with rejecting the work of qualified doctors and future doctors because of their race? Are they comfortable with putting patients at risk because of doctors’ personal politics?

Here's what we know: the videos, which are labeled as @DukeMedSchool DEI Townhalls, were posted by the Duke resident-run account @DukeSurgRes. Duke has yet to comment on the videos. Did admin at Duke ask for these videos to be taken down? Does Duke stand by Raman's comments? Is Duke ok with its surgeons discriminating against patients and future doctors?
Following our investigation, Duke Medical School has taken down videos in which one of its doctors, Vignesh Raman, admitted to "abandoning ... all sort[s] of metrics" in hiring surgeons for the sake of DEI. Unfortunately for Duke, we saved copies.
As @elonmusk aptly put it, DEI puts the lives of your loved ones at risk.
We’ve reached out to Duke, Raman, and the North Carolina AG for comment, and are in touch with U.S. Rep. Bishop who intends to ensure the laws here are fully enforced.
