I am not 100% sure about the facts behind the Samourai Wallet “devs got arrested for money laundering” story.

Maybe they were involved in some shady stuff, maybe not. In any case, it is interesting how people spin this (overall very irrelevant) story… “not a good look for Bitcoin” - wtf - WHY? some asshole sells drugs for dollars, is that a bad look for the dollar?

I am also convinced that many terms, from “conspiracy theory” to “Nazi”, from “terrorist” to “money laundering” have been trivialized, extremely so, over the past years and are used in a way that has nothing to do with the actual meaning.

If the state stays the f out of peoples private money matters, there is no problem. If someone makes money doing seriously evil shit - investigate him for that evil shit, kill him, lock him up, whatever. If someone funnels billions into a corrupt banana republic to fight a disgusting proxy war, and a big part of that money is funneled back as bribes - hang em high.

Some dude sending half a bitcoin through a mixer because he won it at gambling and rightfully thinks he should be able to enjoy his luck - that is not a crime. Only in the minds of the parasitic scum that reserve the right to steal, mug, rob, kill only for themselves, not for the human cattle they rule.

Stop accepting their terms.

90% of “illegal” things are totally fine by natural law and common sense.

Develop a healthy sense of right and wrong, and act according to universal ethical standards.

But stop feeling bad if you have not KYCked yourself sufficiently or not given enough "proof" how those 13000 Sats in your Lightning wallet were earned... It is none of their damn business, unless we allow it.

Switched to “5.11 tactical jeans” some time ago. Fit is a matter of taste, ofc, but I just love them, clever design incl. magazine pockets (which are also great for phone and other civilian items), and so far neither I nor my dogs have been able to shred them…
